Jiggled Juggler [3D]

The most popular project in my career – “Jiggled Juggler” In June last year, I received an invitation to collaborate with the most famous jazz band in Europe, the Obradovic-Tixier Duo!
Out of all the artists across Europe, I was chosen to paint a clumsy juggler to represent the theme of their new and latest album – Jiggled Juggler!

We filmed in various locations, castles and caves in unspoilt nature. We painted the same with clay and brush. The conditions were not ideal, but the togetherness that connected us during this week was indescribably warm and beautiful. Indescribably happy, grateful and satisfied with this project, for me personally my FAVOURITE so far!

The promotion of the album “Jiggled Juggler” and an exhibition of my artworks as well as a spectacle with a selected dance group are planned for the end of 2025 in the jazz district in the heart of Paris. “Jiggled Juggler” is the sixth author album by the multi-award-winning French duo “Obradovic-Tixier Duo”. With each composition on the “Jiggled Juggler” opus, French pianist David Tixier and Croatian drummer Lada Obradović address a separate phenomenon of modern society, in which life is determined and subordinated by social networks and journalism, which has lost the foundations of a once honourable profession. Through them they express their dissatisfaction with relationships in the business world, with views on the creative processes of artistic creation (real and not so real), but also the path of daily personal struggle in such an environment.

Questionable political decisions and the wars they lead to are the painful inspiration for her music. Their juggler is a reflection of this experienced, essentially unstable reality. The superimposed image of the 21st century world is just an illusion, under which the foundations are collapsing with unimaginable speed. As usual, the duo tells stories through music. Each composition is created on the basis of a lived situation and personal experience. The difference in the relationship between the earlier compositions and the new album is that this time the audience feels no connection to the main character, who is usually portrayed as a hero or victim or both at the same time, or to a story that carries the strength
and characteristics of a hero.

In “The Clumsy Juggler” the focus is on criticizing today’s society and the hectic pace that superficiality breeds, on criticising the belief of many that their point of view is the only correct and unchallengeable one, on intolerance towards others and the imposition of one’s own opinion on everything. This time, all this is directed at the main character of the clumsy juggler – the incarnation of our society as we have unfortunately created it ourselves and which finds itself at a moment when it is in urgent need of rethinking and change.
